Tuning Fork

My husband has a tuning fork.  He works in the medical field.  He is not in orthopedics. 

I discovered several years ago that sometimes fractures can be diagnosed with a tuning fork. 

Last year, before the MRI on my foot, we tested with the tuning fork.  I jumped with the pain (if there is a fracture . . . it REALLY hurts. OMG), and my foot throbbed for hours afterward.   

Tonight, almost three months after the bone pain seemed to go away, I tested again  . . . the vibrations caused absolutely nothing!       Happy New Year!
